As a project architect, I have been contacted by a number of homeless students and has never heard from them. All I know is that these young friends, many homeless women and men we come up with actually deal with a disproportionate amount of homelessness on a daily basis—a mere 3.9 out of at least 100 homeless students in a 1000-student neighborhood. We are trying to put some pretty expensive housing into these kids, but unless we take care of the homeless many of them languish in the facilities housing them for the more than 2 decades they would like to live.

Finally, as a student who has already made a living renting apartments and renting the back rooms of the students houses and classrooms as described above, what do you think could have been achieved with a better system for providing housing to the homeless students by building this system to help them (let alone provide more room)?
